ETON COLLEGE

WEDENSDAY 14TH AUGUST 2019

As a one off event our live post mortem is arriving at Eton College in England. This special event is offering students aspiring to medicine and dentistry a first hand live human body dissection experience. Aimed at students studying A Levels/Pre-U courses and applying for medicine at UK medical schools. This prestigius 4 hour event lead by nationally acclaimed human anatomist Samuel Piri and his team will peel back the skin to gain an in-depth understanding of anatomy and physiology.

During this session you’ll work with real surgeons, doctors pathologists and anatomists to dissect and examine real specimens as 'VIVIT –the world’s only semi-synthetic human cadaver' is dissected for you. As you work though the post mortem using examination, evidence and an index of suspicion you’ll work to build a picture of what happened to our subject in the final moments of his life. Can you establish an accurate evidence based pinnacle cause of death?

This event will give you an advanced appreciation of the anatomical structures of the human body and is suitable for A Level students who are applying for medicine and dentistry via UCAS at a UK or international medical school.
